St. Peter and St. Michael students and staff learned the new school name during Catholic Education Week, all gathered together at O’Neill High School. Watch the excitement as they learned the name of their new school community.

Thank you for sharing in our joy as we build a new school community together.
St. Raphael School is a wonderful name for us. We have been learning and praying for many years for the healing between the Catholic Church and Indigenous peoples. St. Raphael will support that.
We know how important names are. We know you called each of us by name, knowing each of us as we grew within our mother’s womb. We know there is meaning behind the name of our new school, and we pray we can all learn and heal together, setting an example for others. Thank you for this happy meeting between the current Falcons and Panthers.
