We pray for a peaceful and prosperous 2025 for all our school communities. May the love of our Creator reach every heart, inspiring kindness, understanding, and unity. May we walk together with Jesus in faith, guided by His wisdom, as we strive to nurture the minds, bodies, and spirits of all entrusted to our care. Amen.
SCSBA
RCSD is part of the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association, known informally as the SCSBA. Our Trustee Vicky Bonnell is the Vice President of the SCSBA and represents RCSD. This provincial organization is devoted to bringing God’s children to know Jesus Christ’s love through Catholic Education.
THANK YOU
Throughout the Advent season, we had the privilege of serving students in our school communities. We were invited to concerts and liturgies and other events which allowed us to keep our hearts open to the Christ child, but also let us see the beauty of the work our staff do every day. This glimpse into our schools remind us how many others lend a hand regularly for the benefit of our students. Thank you for showing your generosity with others through fundraisers and collections. And thank you for choosing publicly funded Catholic education for your children. Celebrating Christmas with a focus on waiting for baby Jesus in our schools is a gift we do not take for granted.
JANUARY 2025
We are back to business as usual with a public Board Meeting and a return to classes on Mon. Jan. 6. There is no school for elementary students on Mon. Jan. 20. High Schools students write finals this month, and have Jan. 28 and 29 off, beginning Semester Two on Jan. 30.
