YOUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Thank you for your votes and support in choosing each of us to sit on the Board of Trustees for the Regina Catholic School Division. We take the responsibility seriously and are eager to spend the next four years advocating for the students, staff and stakeholders in our school communities. Shortly following the election, we chose Ryan Bast to serve as our new Chair, and Vicky Bonnell and Bob Kowalchuk as Deputy Chairs. Trustees Rob Bresciani, Shauna Weninger and Darren Wilcox joined them to welcome newly elected Trustee Greg Fischer to the table.
ADVENT SEASON
We light candles in all our schools this month during Advent. We offer prayers for migrants and refugees everywhere seeking hope and new life for their families and for the world, just as Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth; Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem; and during the Christmas season, the Magi visited baby Jesus.
125 YEARS, 125 STORIES
From our humble beginnings as the Gratton Roman Catholic Separate School District as Regina, to a recent move into a new Catholic Education Centre, we’re celebrating 125 Years in Regina Catholic Schools with 125 Stories. We invite you to follow along on our division website where you can see a new story every school day for the rest of the school year.
CHRISTMAS BREAK
We wish all our students, staff, families, parishes and communities a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2025. Our Christmas break is December 23, 2024 until January 3, 2025.
