ELECTION RESULTS

November 13 is Municipal and School Board Election Day in Regina. We appreciate your votes to determine the Board of Trustees for Regina Catholic Schools. As votes are cast and successful candidates named, please watch for the results on our website. Whatever the outcome, your current trustees are grateful for your support over the last four years.

HOLY ROSARY PARK

The City of Regina purchased from us the green space next to the former Holy Rosary Community School for $1.00 plus closing costs. Preserving the land as a dedicated park space is a notable part of the deal, as the community made clear to us the importance of the park in conversations prior to the school’s closure.

EDUCATION WEEK

November 24-30 is Education Week in Saskatchewan. The theme this year is “Learning is a Journey.” We thank you for entrusting your children to our schools for their learning journeys. Our staff often speaks about life-long learning, and we pray the education of each of our students continues long after high school graduation.

REMEMBRANCE

November is a month of Remembering. We pray for our loved ones who have died and pray for departed souls who may not have anyone else to pray for them. On November 8 we pray and commemorate Indigenous veterans, and on November 11 we mark Remembrance Day. May all those gone before us rest peacefully in the glory of God, our Creator.

There is no school for students on November 8 and 11.
