We are so excited to watch as crews continue to build the new joint-use facility to replace our own St. Peter and St. Michael Schools, as well and Imperial and McDermid for Regina Public Schools. For now, its name is “North Regina Joint-Use School” which is a little… lacking. We’re confident we can work together to do better!
St. Michael Falcons and St. Peter Panthers kicked off the search for a new school name with a fun game, and now we’re inviting others to play “Name That School!” with us. So please, think about what a school name means to a community, and share your ideas with us!
Just visit our Name That School form before February 16, 2024 to share your idea with us. The name should reflect the community, confirm our purpose as a Catholic school, and inspire continued success to our diverse students here on beautiful Treaty 4 Territory, where we learn, live, work and play. We want to honour the original keepers of this land, the nêhiyawak, nahkawé, Nakota, the Métis, Lakota, and Dakota peoples. We also want the school to be a place of welcome to all. Watch for the exciting name reveal in May during Catholic Education Week!
